I'll be paying another $10.00, regardless - but first would like to know if it's OK to do so for another character than zIpPeDy? From the Game Forum, I've picked up hints that Alt Accounts are kind of frowned upon, so I'm not sure what your policy on that is. I want to try being not-nice, but zIp has only ever been friendly, and I'd prefer to pay for a suitably-unfriendly t-shirt for an equally unfriendly character! ;)

The developer, chaozz, answered this on the Forum (https://survius.com/forums/thread-2420.html), as follows: "As soon as the building system is stable I will put out a Mac and Linux build again. But for the sake of rapid prototyping I can't at this stage."

Spam, in this case, refers to a folder in your eMail program, where junk mail is diverted to (so you don't have to waste time looking at it). The problem is: often an eMail program will THINK an incoming eMail is junk and move it to the Spam Folder (where you don't see it) but that particular eMail might NOT be junk/spam! Different eMail programs will have different names for the "Spam" folder.
You could try looking in your Spam Folder (or whatever it's called in YOUR eMail program) - or - just post another message asking for help with activation, as now SQLz (a Survius Moderator) seems to be assisting others with that.
There are only two islands in the game. 'Military island' must refer to the small island to the North, over the 'closed bridge' (it's not closed now...apparently it was in the past). On that island, the two most OBVIOUS things, are: a cluster of about 8 hangars, where you can usually find food, drink, weapons and a plane wreck which also usually has a very small amount of food, drink, maybe bandages. I'd highly recommend looking at either of these maps: Map 1, Map 2 .
A couple of months ago, I built a base on the small island, but I never once heard or saw any evidence that the helicopter flew over it, so I kept having to make very lengthy treks to the central area of the main island, in order to hang-out there long enough to hopefully catch a sighting of the chopper. [A couple of months ago, the ONLY way to acquire scrap metal (required to make a door for your base), was to get it from an Air Drop. Nowadays, very occasionally, a zombie you kill will drop it.]
p.s. I don't like to give too many details in an open forum (because everyone will swarm those locations!) but I always found the small island to be one of the most consistent spawn sites for the necessary axe and toolbox (also often a flashlight). I don't know the mechanics of spawning, but it makes sense that you have a greater chance of finding stuff at the most out-of-the-way sites (so, along those lines, look at the maps to see places which require more effort/a longer trek to get to!)
FOLLOW THAT HELICOPTER! [Seriously...it will drop very rare supplies, so if you're lucky enough to see the drop you may beat everyone else in the stampede (kidding) to find it!]
Having said that, I haven't been able to find very many, despite scouring the landscape after seeing the Chopper go overhead (but I still try)
Axes DO seem hard to find, especially if the server's had lots of players online finding them all just before you go online (at least THAT'S MY theory! LOL!) Rockridge and the Pumpkin Farm occasionally have them (I think they both have them, unless I'm misremembering and just one does?) Craftfield has them (tho' I've been the least lucky there, I suspect because it has such high traffic) and finally the small north island has them (in the hangar at the end of the road). You will ALSO need a red toolbox to craft, and I think they're even harder to find (try all the same places) as sometimes I will find 2 or even 3 axes together, but I usually only find one toolbox at a time. GOOD LUCK!
